Dr. Mazza received her Bachelors of Arts Degree at Temple University in Spanish Linguistics and Literature. She went on to receive her medical degree at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine. She believes deeply in a mind, body and spirit approach to medicine and uses Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine to treat a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory conditions for patients in the general population. She has utilized this modality in post-partum women and among local and world-champion athletes.

Dr. Mazza then went on to complete her residency training at Albert Einstein Medical School of Medicine-St. Barnabas Hospital, in New York City. She enjoyed treating a diverse patient population and was trained to treat all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics. As a family physician, she has learned to treat the whole family and has a more thorough understanding of how family history relates to illness.

Dr. Mazza’s passion for cultures and languages has brought her to many parts of the world.  She has volunteered for several medical missions in the underserved areas of Mexico, Ecuador, and Cape Verde. Additionally, she speaks English and Spanish fluently and has working proficiencies in Italian and Portuguese.

Dr. Mazza is a clinical instructor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and is affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Outside of Dr. Mazza’s medical pursuits, she is a fellow Brooklynite, an avid traveler, an accomplished artist and foodie who spends her time in spiritual pursuit through yoga, meditation and energy work. When she is not enjoying Brooklyn and the rest of what our amazing city has to offer, you can find her in the outdoors with her intrepid rescue dog, Oso.
