Eli

Dental Assistant

I'm Eli, a dental assistant at Leaf Dental. Born and raised in Uzbekistan, I moved to the United States at age 16 and eventually graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Biology Science. My career in dentistry spans over a decade, and I've had the honor to work with specialists in periodontics, surgery, endodontics, and pediatrics.

As a dental assistant, my primary responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing dental instruments, assisting chair-side during dental procedures, and ensuring patient comfort at all times. What I love most about my job is building trust with patients and collaborating with a stellar team of dental professionals. It's rewarding to know I contribute to enhancing our patients' oral health and overall well-being.

Outside of work, my hobbies range from playing board games and chess to outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and swimming. I also have a knack for woodworking. And here's a fun fact: I once survived a white scorpion bite!

Feel free to ask me any questions during your visit, and I look forward to making your dental experience as comfortable as possible!

It was a fantastic experience, start to finish.

I have a mouth full of dental work and sensitive teeth, and I'm always a bit terrified of cleanings and check ups. I had my first appointment at Leaf Dental today, and I saw Linda, Sherry and Dr. Rafiq - it was a fantastic experience, start to finish.

The space is calm and welcoming, and the team that worked on me was very understanding of my nerves, careful and gentle. Plus, completely effective. Stains on old dental work are gone, and they even replaced a lost composite filling within my appointment time.

It is a massive relief to have a new dental practice that I know will take such great care of me.
